Project First Responders
In the heat of early September, over 200 off-road modified vehicles amassed at Southern Off Road Specialists for its 20th Anniversary Car Show and the Project First Responders fundraiser hosted by Tacoma Beast and The Green Reaper. The event welcomed all vehicles and featured a raffle giveaway, awards for best in show and live music from Athens, GA band Shameless James.
The collective brainchild of Southern Off-Road, Tacoma Beast and the Green Reaper, Project First Responders was put on in an effort to raise money for Forsyth County’s first responders. Held the weekend before September 11th, Project First Responders also served as a reminder of those service men & women who lost their lives durning the tragic events of September 11th, 2001. All of the event's proceeds are being donated to Forsyth County’s B.A.D.G.E. organization, a non-profit dedicated to giving back to the employees of the Forsyth County Service Organizations.
