Not every build we do at Southern Off-Road Specialists is meant to be a show stopper. In fact, many of our builds are fairly modest lift/wheel/tire packages. However, when we do set out to create a truly unique, custom creation, we pull out ALL the stops.

Enter the GMC Denali 10×10 SEMA build. This monster was built completely in house here at Southern Off-Road for 2018’s SEMA show. The truck is the result of 3 months of extensive research, design and fabrication, all culminating into one of the most monumental builds to ever leave our shop.

This truck began life as a stock 2018 GMC Denali 3500 Duramax. One of the coolest things about this truck is that after completely built, it still measures the same length as it did stock. This was possible thanks to a custom-fabricated bedside designed and built by our master fabricators. Suspension was overhauled with a 12” Cognito suspension system with Air Ride and a dual 4-link setup. All three axles are custom 5-ton Meritor with true 6×6 functionality, courtesy of Differential Engineering.

On the Exterior, the 10×10 features 30” American Force forged wheels and Fab Fours front and rear bumpers to finish off its wild looks. We kept the powertrain stock, given that the OEM Duramax and heavy duty Allison transmission provide plenty of power, and gave it extra stopping power via a Fab Fours Big Brake kit.

At the SEMA show, this truck turned heads and captured imaginations, going on to be featured on several off-road websites/publications. It was truly one of our favorite builds.
