1948 Ford F6 COE Wedge Truck
For this build, we wanted to retain all the great classic styling of the F6, while taking advantage of modern conveniences and functionality that would allows this to be a useable hauler. Built on a 1 ton motorhome chassis, this F6 is powered by a stout 400 small block paired up to a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. An interior tricked out with bucket seats, a custom gauge cluster, head liner, power windows, P/B, P/S, AC, and bluetooth entertainment system keeps you comfortable and in control.
Rear air ride suspensions makes hauling heavy loads a breeze, and two bed side storage boxes offer ample room for storing straps, chains or whatever hauling accessories you need. Built-in ramps with drop down support legs make unloading a breeze, and a two battery setup for the winch ensures you’ll never get stuck in a sticky situation. LED bed lights and D-ring tie down points on the ramp round out the this F6’s hauling functionality.
While a little outside of the box compared to our other featured projects, this was a super cool build and we’re happy with how it turned out. If you’re interested in having a truck like this, you’re in luck – this F6 is for sale! Visit Time Warp Customs to view the for-sale listing.
